Paulo Ferreira played together with Ronaldo in the Portuguese senior national team for several years until the Blues legend retired from international football in 2010. Paulo Ferreira continued his career at club level for three more years until he ended his playing career in 2013.

Ex-Porto and Estoril right-back Paulo Ferreira told journalist Nizaar Kinsella that Ronaldo can play at the highest level until 40. The Chelsea coach is certain that Ronaldo still has a lot to offer for many years to come.

Juventus attacker Ronaldo has been in good form for his Italian club this season especially in the league. He scored one of the goals as Juventus beat Napoli 2-1 at home in a rescheduled league game. The goal took his tally to 25 goals in the Italian Serie A this term. He has 25 goals and three assists in 26 league matches this season.

His form in front of goal has not stopped the critics from pouncing on Ronaldo especially due to his inability to lift Juventus to Champions League glory in his three seasons at the club till date. Ronaldo and Juventus have not gone beyond the round of 16 stage in each of the last two Champions League editions including this season.

Juventus were eliminated by FC Porto at the round of 16 stage through the away goals rule. The Italian champions were beaten 2-1 by their Portuguese opponents in the first leg before they won the second leg 3-2 at home at the end of extra time. Ronaldo was heavily criticised as he failed to score over the two legs against FC Porto.
